This is a little more news-oriented than I tend to get with my posts, but I thought it was worth mentioning for anyone who hasn't already heard about it.
I think this woman has done the right thing with speaking out about McDonald's playgrounds and their level of uncleanliness. If I had children, I would think twice before I let them play in filth like this. It's baffling why this franchise owner would choose legal action against the outspoken rather than apologize and correct the problem, but I suppose this is par for the course with the blameless society we live in today. So unfortunate.
Food for thought: if they allow the playground to be this disgusting, what must their kitchen look like?
