Google Earth As Art

I don't get easily excited about interior decorating, but this is way too awesome not to share!  German designer David Hanauer has found a way to turn Google Earth images into unique carpet patterns.  While they are a bit too modern for my home, I love their originality.  I've never seen anything like it before!  (hat tip: IncredibleThings.com)
